May 20, a lecture of President of the Russian Chamber of Trade and Industry, Academician Yevgeny Primakov was held in the Big hall of Latvian University

For the first time in the history of diplomatic relations in the Baltic states two Ambassadors of Russia and US agreed to participate in a discussion: „US and Russia: a year after reset“. The discussion was organized at the Baltic International Academy in Riga (BIA)

On 29th April, the public meeting of the Club Board was held, where the issues on the Club Regulations were discussed

On the initiative of our three Members, the consultation meeting was held with the acting Club President Mr. J.Rekasi

On 22nd April the Israel Embassy reception was held on the occasion of the 62nd Israel Day of Independence at the Riga Latvian Society.

On 22nd April, Club Members got acquainted with the projects and actions of The Institute of Organic Synthesis. The Institute director, professor, Doctor of Science Ivars Kalvins presented the opportunities of the institute in the modern pharmaceutical field.

In the club admitted new members — diplomats from the embassies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Slovakia.
