New BT1 projects engage attention
On 17 March Counsellor at Hungarian Embassy of Economic Affairs in Latvia and Estonia, President of Diplomatic Club Janos Rekasi visited Kipsala international exhibition hall in order to learn about the forthcoming Business Contact Forum Invest Expo 2011.
The deputy director of exhibition company BT1, director of business contact forum, Invest Expo and China Business Days 2011 exhibition Juris Zelcs presented in details the new business opportunities – Invest Expo 2011 forum. This is the first international business contact forum for entrepreneurs who are ready to join international investment projects, to establish joint ventures and to develop their production units in Latvia.
Two events are organized from 6 to 8 May which include Chinese business and investment exhibitions, contact exchange, seminars and presentations, official and non-official events.
The intriguing fact about this year’s exhibitions is the cooperation of entrepreneurs not only from China and Latvia, but also from EU, Northern and Eastern Europe.
The participants of Invest Expo 2011 are the executives of Latvian town and district self-governments, bank and investment fund representatives, who are interested in investment projects and are open for engaging new partners and capital providers from China, Eastern Europe and EU.

It was also stressed during the meeting that the current economic situation and attractive legislation for entrepreneurs of Latvian Republic arouse foreign investors’ interest in investment in Latvian enterprises.
Invest Expo 2011 exhibition will become the first international business contact forum dedicated to development of new partner relations, engagement of investments and development of joint venture leading to the improvement of entrepreneurial sphere and economics of Latvian government.
During the meeting devoted to Invest Expo and China Business Days presentation Juris Zelcs talked about the business contact forum potentials. More than 300 participants attended the meeting, among whom some entrepreneurs showed interest in the development and partnership in such widespread events with high importance for Latvia.
