Traders Association of Latvia in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel held a competition and the awards ceremony the «Product 2012 in Latvia from Israel». Its goal is to select products of Israel, which acquired responsiveness among consumers and entrepreneurs in Latvia.

Ambassador of Israel Hagit Ben-Yaakov awarded diplomas «Product in 2012 in Latvia from Israel» to representatives of companies distributing:
cleaner «Anti Kalk WC» (SIA BSE BALTIC)
«Eye Contour Age Defying Fluid» (SIA Liad Baltija).

V. Barskov — «Bauskas alus», Hungarian Ambassador Gabor Dobokay Henrik Danusevich, Ambassador of Israel Hagit Ben-Yaakov

This is the second ceremony to select goods from Israel, and is supporting strong bilateral relations between Israel and Latvia, including the economic sphere.

The meeting was opened by the President of the Latvian Traders Association Henrik Danusevich. There were welcoming speeches:

Aija Jaunzeme — Director of Department the Latvian Investment and Development Agency.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
