On the 28th February at the Diplomatic Economic Club meeting there was presented a concept of the 1st International Economic Forum organization in Riga.

The company-organizer is planning to hold the Riga Economic Forum with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Latvia, Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Entrepreneur Club „Riga Marka“.

Forum Organisers Pavel Morozov and Margarita Shalaeva spoke to the Club Members telling about the preparations and aims, the main topics and themes it is planned to discuss during the forum.

At this Club meeting Andrey Masutin the Counsellor on economic issues of the Embassy of Russian Federation became a Club Member.

At the meeting were present:
Cornelis J. Groeneveld, Maksim Preminin, Snezhana Shushunova, Vladimir Kozlovsky, Andrey Masyutin, Dawid Tomaszewski, Helen Roge, Zhazira Mirzakassimova, Edgars Ozolins, Karina Kokina, Vladimir Lopatko, Liu Jun.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
