The latest models of automobiles, masterpieces by the masters of tuning, commercial vehicles, industrial machinery and equipment  the largest exhibition of the automotive industry in the Baltic countries, Auto 2016, is taking place on 15-17 April.
Members of the Diplomatic Economic Club have taken part in the opening ceremony of the Auto 2016 Exhibition held at the International Exhibition Centre in Riga.

Analysts describe the current situation in the automotive market and industry of Europe as slightly improved; this optimism is supported by a variety of new models and the quantity of cars sold.

Members of the Club have taken part in the opening of the Latvian roads „Latvijas ceļi“ stand and in the overview of its offers, they have reviewed and compared the models of different brands, got acquainted with the offers of auto dealers such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Hyundai, Suzuki, Seat, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Subaru, Chrysler, Dodge and other manufacturers.

More than 100 masterpieces of tuning studios of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus and Germany are being shown in the Auto Exotica 2016 Section.

Contests for mechanics are being held in the Section Automechanics 2016; equipment for automobile service centres, tools, technologies, and accessories are also being demonstrated there.

Members of the Club have also got acquainted with the commercial vehicles as well as equipment for freight and passenger transportation presented at the Exhibition Transport equipment 2016.

Members of the Club thank the manager of the AUTO Exhibition Gints Savejs for the support and assistance in getting acquainted with the expositions of the participants.
