On 12th April, 2010 The President of Latvia V.Zatlers signed the decision of the commission dated 24 March, 2010
To award the Commander of Order of the Three Stars
His Excellency, the former Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Slovakia in Latvia

The Members of Club sincerely congratulate the honorary Member of Diplomatic Economic Club Ivan Spilda with the receiving of high award of Latvia!

During the period from March, 2005 till May, 2009 Ivan Spilda was the Ambassador of Slovakia and he contributed greatly in the mutually beneficial development of relations between the entrepreneurs.
Mr. Spilda was one of the founders of the traditions of Club — Slovakian goulash at Riga Food exhibition, cabbage soup at the Embassy before Christmas. The fact is that Ivan Spilda took part in all the prepations.Ivan Spilda repeatedly participated in the Club events always maintaining the spirit of understanding.
The award will be held on 1st May, 2010 in Riga.

Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
