Members of Diplomatic Economic Club had an opportunity to get acquainted with a variety of modern equipment for office and home at «Baltic Furniture 2015» and original ideas at the Riga International Design Fair "Design Isle 2015“ held at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre in Riga from 2–4 October.

Official reception of the PRC Embassy in Latvia  was held September 29, 2015 on the occasion of the state holiday of the 66th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, China’s main state holiday, which is celebrated annually on October 1.

International Medical Fair «Medbaltica 2015» took place at Kipsala International Exhibition centre in Riga, Latvia from 17–19 September. Members of Diplomatic Economic Club (DEC) attended the exhibition and got acquainted with the medical trends in Latvia and got information about the current events in this field.

In the official ŠKODA Representative office in Latvia, Karlo Motors, the Ambassador of Czech Republic in Latvia H.E. Mr Pavol Šepel’ák , members of the Diplomatic Club and other guests took part in the exhibition opening event dedicated to the 120th anniversary of ŠKODA car manufacturer.

Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia in Latvia Peter Hatiar held a reception on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Slovak Republic September 3th at the Grand Palace Hotel, which is celebrated in the country on September 1th.

Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Perebiynis in Latvia held a reception on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, which is celebrated on August 24. Reception was held on September 1 in Hotel Mercure in Riga.

Ambassadors of a number of foreign countries, members of the Diplomatic Economic Club, took part in the opening ceremony and the VIP exhibition tour to get acquainted with products and services showcased at «Riga Food 2015», the largest food fair in the Baltic States.

In Military museum in Riga, the ambassador of Slovakia Peter Hatiar has opened the exhibition ’How CentralEurope Helps the World’. The exhibition is dedicated to the passing of presidency in Visegrad Group (V4) from Czech Republic to Slovakia .

The end of spring Club’s session meeting was highlighted by Club members sharing their experience and stories about Ligo celebration and visiting a brand new restaurant Philippe in Jurmala

On the 12th June 2015, H.E. Mr. Alexander Veshnyakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in Latvia in his residence in Jurmala held a reception in the honour of the National holiday – the Day of Russia.

On May 29, Members of the Club traditionally participated the lilac bushes’ planting event on Friendship Avenue in place Rukisi.
