14 февраля в отеле Gallery Park в Риге прошло заключительное празднование Масленицы. Гостеприимные хозяева пригласили гостей, чтобы вместе проводить зиму и начать готовиться к весне. С такими традициями в народе связан праздник масленицы.

Гостей встречали скоморохи на ходулях и хлебосольно угощали. Творческие коллективы, сменяя друг друга, призывали петь и танцевать гостей вместе с ними. Частушки, зажигательные цыганские танцы, игры для детей и взрослых, огненное феерическое шоу, филигранный фокусник, салют, музыка и теплая атмосфера сделали праздник незабываемым событием.

По традиции в конце праздника было сожжено чучело зимы, которое унесло с собой все болезни и невзгоды.
Наступает время весны.

All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
