Opening of the international food exhibition
Riga Food exhibition 2016 pass on 7 — 10 September at the International exhibition center in Kipsala. In the exhibition opening ceremony and inspection of exhibitions was attended by the President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis, The President of the Cabinet of Ministers Maris Kuchinskis, Minister of agriculture of Latvia Janis Duklavs, the ambassadors of Italy, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Georgia and members of the Diplomatic Economic Club.
An important event of the food industry in the Baltic States exhibition «Riga Food 2016» — traditionally offers a large-scale exhibition, competitions of professionals and food, exciting shows, workshops and tastings.
Representatives of over 37 countries and more than 700 companies from Greece, Georgia, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Moldova, the Dominican Republic, and others demonstrate the products. In the exhibition 14 countries presented national stands.

During the inspection of the guests of the exhibition got acquainted with the expositions of a number of Latvian companies, called for collective stands Italy and Georgia.
The fourth year the visitors of the exhibition «Riga Food» at the joint stands of the regions of Latvia meets with the traditions and national dishes of their edges, which represent domestic manufacturers, small and medium enterprises in Latgale, Kurzeme, Vidzeme and Zemgale.
