International exhibition center in Riga on 24-26 of February received participants and visitors at exhibition about education in Latvia and abroad „School 2017“ and book and publishers exhibition „Latvian Book Fair 2017“.

Members of Diplomatic Economical club took part in the opening of international exhibitions „School 2017“, „Latvian Book Fair 2017“, and also on the opening of the Russian exhibition honourable guest national stand.

Lively book city – exhibition center, where writers, translators and publishers of Latvia met their readers. Expositions of publishers novelties accompanied with exhibition prices, the „Book exchange point“ was working. Visitors took part in readings of the authors and in meetings with Latvian celebrities

On the opening of the exhibition performed with greetings the spokesman of the President of Russia on cultural questions, Mikhail Shvidkoy. More than 30 well known Russian authors met with their readers, presented their books and performed as participants on public readings and autograph sessions.

Members of Diplomatic club and guests reviewed offers from exhibition participants in the sphere of education in Latvia, book publishers novelties, took part in different events at the international exhibitions.

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
