In the flow of year meeting, receptions pass on occasion of national holidays and other events.
Embassy of Slovakia on the eve of New Year and Christmas, conducts meeting with one aim is Slovakia hospitality and to taste traditional cabbage soup «Kapustnica», where are very much meat and cabbage.

Meeting at the beginning of December in Embassy of Slovakia in Riga, have old tradition and begun with the first years of establishing diplomatic relation between Latvia and Slovakia.
Main event at this diplomatic meeting is cooking soup «Kapustnica», it is a christmas dish in Slovakia and prepare him here employees of diplomatic missions and members of families.

One of recipes of soup «Kapustnica» (3 litres)
Couchette, cut bulb, dry sharp sausage, a bit ham, handful of the dried CEPS (beforehand be-dabbled), chive, 1 soupspoon flour, 2 one soup spoon of vegetable oil, 1 soup spoon of the dried sweet paprika, 1 soup spoon of dark raisin/pl, a bit prunes.
A sweet ingredient is added in an order to soften acid of couchette.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity
