On February 28, members of the Diplomatic Economic Club took part in the opening of the international exhibition SCHOOL 2020 and the Latvian Book Exhibition 2020, which are being held in Riga from February 28 to March 1 at the International Exhibition Center.

Club members received information from exhibitors about training opportunities both in Latvia and abroad.

Minister of Culture of Latvia Nauris Puntulis noted that «Latvian Book Fair» is held in Kipsala already in the 23rd time and every time opens up new horizons.

102 participants from 8 Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, France, Ukraine and 46 Latvian book publishers present their news.
Club members got acquainted with the national expositions «Belarusian Books», «Ukrainian Book», publishers Ripol, New Stained Glass from Russia, booksellers in Lithuania, Estonia and other countries.

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
