A gala concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Slovakia and Slovak-Latvian diplomatic relations was held on January 18 in the Great Hall of the Latvian Academy of Music J. Vitols

The Ambassador of Slovakia Ladislav Babchan and the guest of honor, the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, Ms. Gunda Reire, addressed the guests with greetings.

The concert was attended by performers from Slovakia — laureates of Slovak and international competitions: Ivan Zvarik — opera singer, bass and Adam Marec — classical guitar
Special guest from Latvia violinist Terēze Zīberte-Ljaba

Classical works by foreign and Slovak composers Federico Garcia Lorca, Ladislav Hloubek, Egon Krak were performed, the world premiere of a sonata and compositions by other authors was performed.
