On December 1, 2009 a new shopping center with the production of Belarusian goods was opened in Riga, Kr.Barona
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Latvia Mr. Gerasimenko.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus A.M. Gerasimenko . Together with the Chairman of the association of merchants Latvia H. Danusevich symbolically opened the shopping center.
Currently, a wide range of consumer products from Belarusian manufacturers is provided: textile, shirts, suits, shoes, cosmetics, electrical devices, children’s footwear and apparel for newborns and up to 10 years, lingerie, glassware, household goods.
Shopping Center was jointly organized by Latvian four company, so that is why there is such a wide range of goods.
At the opening there was a performance of the Folk Song Society of Belarusian’s in Latvia, participant of «Minute of Fame» from Latvia on 1TV channel.
The owners of the Trade Center stressed that one of the founders was Sergey Zholtok, an outstanding hockey player in Latvia. His Memorial Day is December 2 that is also a symbolic date of opening of the center.

Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
