День Конституции Республики Польша, Посол Республики Польша в Латвии господин Ежи Марек Новаковски

5 мая в залах Большой Гильдии в Риге, Посол Республики Польша в Латвии господин Ежи Марек Новаковски провел прием по случаю праздника Конституции 3 мая и Всемирного дня польских общин и проживающих заграницей поляк.
Первая польская Конституция самая старая в Европе. Она была принята 3 мая 1791 года, на полгода раньше французской.

Согласно Конституции Польша провозглашалась страной под управлением наследственной конституционной монархии и парламента, который избирался на два года. Через год, в результате раздела территории между Пруссией, Россией и Австрией, Польша утратила самостоятельность, но в 1918 году страна вновь воссоединилась, и 3 мая был провозглашен официальным праздником.
В 1990 году Праздник Конституции 3 Мая был возрожден и официально объявлен государственным праздником.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
