Maslenicas svētki – ziemas pavadīšana un pavasara sākuma sagaidīšana.

Sanatorija „Dzintarkrasts“ Jūrmalā, 17.martā rīkoja Maslenicas svētku svinēšanu, kuri nozīmē ziemas beigas un pavasara sākumu.

Viesi piedalījās spēlēs un atrakcijās, bet visveiksmīgākie saņēma balvas un dāvanas. Svētku kulminācijas moments bija Masļenicas putnubiedēkļa nodedzināšana , kas nozīmē ziemas beigas un pavasara sākumu.

Masļenicas vēstures pirmsākumi meklējami senajos laikos. Šie svētki nāk no pagānu kultūras, tomēr pēc kristietības pieņemšanas tie saglabājas. Sākotnēji Masļenica bija saistīta ar pavasara saulgriežu dienu, bet ar kristietības laikos kļuva par lielo svētku dienu pirms gavēņa sākuma.

Sekojot tradīcijām, noslēdzot svinības tiek nodedzināts ziemas putnubiedēklis, kas pēc tautas ticējumiem aiznes prom visas slimības un nepatikšanās, un tad sākas pavasaris.

Daži no Diplomātiskā Ekonomiskā Kluba biedriem apmeklēja pasākumu kopā ar ģimeni, un piedalījās svinēšanā, kā arī iepazinās ar svētku tradīcijām.

Kluba biedri izsaka pateicību organizatoriem un sanatorijas „Dzintarkrasts“ direktoram Viktoram Daniloham par iespēju svinēt šos aizraujošos tautas svētkus draugu lokā.

Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
