В музее «Рижская биржа» в Риге 30 апреля Посол Королевства Нидерланды в Латвии Хендрик Геррит Корнелис ван ден Дол (Hendrik Gerrit Cornelis van den Dool) провел прием по случаю главного праздника страны — День королевы (Konninginnedag / Queen’s Day)

В 2013 году этот день ознаменован эпохальным событием — правящая королева страны Беатрикс (Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard) официально отрекается от престола в пользу своего старшего сына Виллема-Александра (Willem-Alexander), принца Оранского.

После того, как новый король вступит в свои права, вместо Дня королевы в Нидерландах будет отмечаться День короля (King’s Day). Первый День короля пройдет 26 апреля 2014 года, а в последующие годы королевский праздник будет отмечаться ежегодно 27 апреля — точно в день рождения Виллема-Александра.

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
