23 мая, члены Клуба приняли участие в открытии нового комплекса по разведению рыбы на территории рыбоконсервного завода Kolumbija Ltd. в Лиепае

В церемонии открытия приняли участие мэр Лиепаи, представители Министерства сельского хозяйства Латвии, рыбного надзора и др.

Члены Клуба осмотрели новое производство и цеха рыбоконсервного завода.

История предприятия берет начало с 1892 года и с 2003 года бывший Лиепайский консервный завод стал предприятием Kolumbija Ltd, на котором сейчас трудится около 350 чел. Владелец предприятия Игорь Крупник рассказал о направлениях развития по выращиванию рыбы осетра, форели, сома и угрей.
