Oficiālajā automobiļu ražotāja pārstāvniecībā Latvijā Karlo Motors Čehijas vēstnieks Latvijā V.E. Pavols Šepeļāks, Diplomātiskā Kluba biedri, un citi viesi piedalījās izstādes, kas veltīta automobiļu ražotāja 120 gadu jubilejai atklāšanā.

Tikšanās laikā viesiem bija iespēja iepazīties ar automobiļu modeļiem, kuri ir pieejami Latvijas tirgū.

120 gadu jubileja automobiļu ražotājam ŠKODA.

1895.gadā Vaclavs Laurins un Vaclavs Klements sāka ražot riteņus ar patriotisku nosaukumu Slavia. 1899.gadā kompānija Laurin & Klement Co. sāka motociklu ražošanu, bet 1905.gadā pārgāja pie automobiļu ražošanas.

1925.gadā kompānija apvienojās ar Pilsen &ŠKODA Co., kā rezultātā tirdzniecības marka Laurin & Klement beidza pastāvēt.

Kompāniju ŠKODA un Volkswagen kopuzņēmums parādījās 1991.gadā aprīlī, un kļuva par Volkswagen Group ceturto brendu līdz ar VW, AUDI un SEAT.
