7. septembrī, Diplomatiskā ekonomiskā clubā notika pasākums «Beļģija un tās reģioni: Eiropas ekonomiskā centra prezentācija»

Pasākumā kluba biedri uzstājās ar savām prezentācijām: Tomas Kastrels Flandrijas ekonomiskais padomdevējs, Flanders Investment&Trade aģentūra, Diplomātiskā Ekonomiskā kluba prezidents, un Žans-Fillips Šklars, Vallonijas un Briseles galvaspilsētas reģiona ekonomiskais padomdevējs, Vallonijas tirdzniecības aģentūra AWEX.

Runātāji pastāstīja par Beļģijas reģionu kultūrisko, vēsturisko un ekonomisko attīstību. Ar to var iepazīties sīkāk kopīgā prezentācijā *.pdf

Pasākuma viesi piedalījās interaktīvā aptaujā „Atklājam Beļģiju kopā“.

Speciāli priekš vakara dalībniekiem bija sagatavota prezentācija par beļģu tradicionālo dzērienu – alu.
Stefans Kastrels sīkāk pastāstīja nevis par masu šķirnām, bet gan par tām, kuras reti var atrast pat pašā Beļģijā. Viesi par godu novērtēja iespēju pagaršot dzintara dzērienus no Beļģijas šeit, Latvijā.

Kluba vice-prezidents Aleksandra Čizmadija izteica pateicību Tomasam Kastrelas, Žanam-Fillipam Šklaram un Stefanam Kastrelam par saturīgu prezentāciju, pasniedza kluba goda Diplomus un suvenīrus.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
