The reception of the embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Latvia Afzal Artikov greets guests with a holiday and wished success to the peoples of Uzbekistan and Latvia, strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The reception was attended by deputies of Saeima Latvia, Ministers, Diplomats and representatives of the business community in Latvia and Uzbekistan.

The extraordinary session of the Supreme Council of the Republic in 31st August 1991 in Tashkent, the independence was proclaimed and asserted independence day holiday, which marks the country September 1 each year.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
