25. oktobrī, Rīgā, Grand Palace Hotel norisinājās Austrijas Vēstniecības rīkotā pieņemšana par godu Austrijas Republikas Nacionālās Dienas svinībām.

Austrijas Vēstniece Latvijā, Stella Avallones kundze (Mrs. Stella Avallone) apsveica svētkos un novēlēja turpmāku savstarpēji izdevīgo attiecību attīstību starp valstīm, ekonomisko un kulturālo kontaktu paplašināšanu.

Austrijas Vēstniecības Latvijā pieņemšana

Austrijas Vēstnieces rezidence atrodas Vīnē. Latvijā atrodas Austrijas goda konsuls un komerciālo jautājumu padomdevējs Ingrid Valentini-Vankas kundze (Mrs. Ingrid Valentini-Wanka)

Austrijas Republikas Nacionālo Dienu svin 26. oktobrī un tā ir saistīta ar padomju karaspēka izvešanu no Austrijas teritorijas. 1943. gadā Padomju Savienības, Lielbritānijas un ASV vadība paziņoja par savu nodomu atjaunot Austriju kā neatkarīgu, suverēnu un demokrātisku valsti.

Valsts līgums no 1955. gada 27. jūlija atjaunoja Austrijas neatkarību un suverenitāti, un, 26. oktobrī, valdība apstiprināja federālo konstitūcijas likumu, kas pasludināja Austrijas pastāvigo neitralitāti un liedza piebiedrošanos iespējamību pie jebkādām kara savienībām vai ārvalstu kara bāžu izveidošanu Austrijā.

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
