12. maijā notika tikšanās ar kluba valdes locekļiem, sakarā ar pasākumu plānošanas jautājumiem.
Sanāksmē piedalījās kluba prezidents Tomas Kastrels, viceprezidents Dmitrijs Glebovs un sekretārs Anatolijs Butenko.

Gaidāmo pasākumu plāns ar kluba biedriem ietver tradicionālos vasaras sezonas pasākumus:Maija beigās notiks ikgadējais pasākums «Iestādīt ceriņa krūmu Draudzības alejā» , kurā jau ir kā 120 ceriņu krūmi, kurus sākuši stādīt kluba biedri kopš 2002. gada

Jūnijā notiks tikšanās ar K. Paueru, sakarā ar darba izbeigšanu Latvijā, tiks rīkotas golfa sacensības ar balvām

Jūlijā tiek piedāvāta iespēja piedalīties pāru sacensībās tenisā, sporta spēlēs kluba biedriem un to ģimenēm, Rīgas jūras līča piekrastē

Augusta beigās ir ieplānots apmeklēt uzņēmumu «Immer group» Ventspilī un tikšanās klubā ar uzņēmuma vadītāju Irinu Mirošniku starptautiskās izstādes «Riga Food» ietvaros

Septembrī notiks brauciens uz Cēsīm, uz uzņēmumu «Venden» un Gaujas nacionālā parka apmeklējums

Rudenī ieplānotas tikšanās klubā ar Beļģijas un Čehijas vēstniekiem, kā arī notiks tikšanās ar Rīgas brīvostas vadītājiem, Latvijas enerģētikas uzņēmumiem utt.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
