On January 17, the Chinese Cultural Center in Riga hosted a celebration of the meeting of spring — the Chinese Lunar New Year / Spring Festival , which this year comes on January 22.
The holiday was organized by the Chinese Embassy and the Chinese Cultural Center in Riga.

Chinese Ambassador to Latvia Liang Jianquan addressed the guests with congratulationsand Director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Riga Ms. Wang Nan

A concert took place, in which students of the Riga School of Culture, gymnasiums, and dance groups took part. There were songs in Chinese and Latvian.
At the end, the guests were offered a traditional Chinese treat for the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Members of the club congratulate everyone on the Chinese Lunar New Year / Spring Festival and wish everyone health and prosperity!In 2023, spring comes to China on January 22.
