Reception at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Riga

Diplomātiskā ekonomiskā kluba biedri 11. februārī piedalījās svinīgajā pieņemšanā par godu Jaunā gada iestāšanās pēc mēness kalendāra. Pavasara svētki ir ne tikai cieņas apliecinājums tradīcijām, bet arī nozīmīgs brīdis rezultātu apkopošanai un turpmākās darījumu sadarbības perspektīvu noteikšanai.

Savā uzrunā Ķīnas Tautas Republikas vēstnieks Latvijā Tans Sungens (H.E. Mr. Tang Songgen) apsveica viesus svētkos un novēlēja panākumus un labklājību Ķīnas un Latvijas tautām, uzsverot draudzības un savstarpējās sapratnes nozīmi. Vakara viesi uzsvēra silto atmosfēru, kas veicināja draudzīgu saziņu starp dažādu valstu pārstāvjiem.

Vakara kulminācija bija krāšņais koncerts «Dzjinču valdzinājums», ko demonstrēja Hubei provinces Skatuves mākslas grupa. Skatītājus pārsteidza mākslinieku meistarība un Ķīnas kultūras bagātība: no virtuozas erhu spēles un tradicionālajām Cu stila dejām līdz aizraujošiem Han operas priekšnesumiem un Vudan cīņas mākslai. Īpašu sajūsmu izraisīja kopprojekts ar vietējiem māksliniekiem, kas simbolizēja kultūras tiltu starp abām tautām.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
