Celebration of the 54th Eid Al Etihad of the United Arab Emirates in Riga

On December 2, a solemn reception was held in Riga, organized by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Latvia on the occasion of the national holiday — the 54th Eid Al Etihad.

H.E. Ms. Noora Mohammed Juma (Noora Mohammed Juma), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. She congratulated the guests on the holiday and noted the significance of the historic day, December 2, 1971, when the seven Emirates united under one flag to form a single state.
The event took place in a festive atmosphere at the Dailes Theatre (Dailes teātris).

Musical Greeting:
A solo program was performed by the famous Latvian pianist Andrejs Osokins (Andrejs Osokins).
Young Talents:
Graduates of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music demonstrated their skills.
Diplomatic Choir:
A special highlight of the evening was the performance of a choir consisting of representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Latvia. They performed both Latvian pieces and popular international melodies, creating an atmosphere of friendship and international unity.

The guests had the opportunity to personally congratulate the Ambassador and the staff of the diplomatic mission on the countrys national holiday.
