    Planting lilac bushes

    04.06.2009. Annually, members of the Club participate in the action – plant lilac bushes on the Friendship Avenue, Ruķiši
    During the year, new members joined the Club, who haven’t participated in this action so far. That’s why this time they had a honor mission to plant their lilac bushes:

    Russia — S. Abramkin
    Russia — P. Bredihin
    Slovakia — M. Mulik

    This year, Friendship Avenue was decorated with a new Stella with names of the participants of the action since 2002.

    Janos Rekasi and Inguna Andzane – for the firsts time participate in the action, they specially came to this activity from Estonia.

    Nikolay Kolotilo organized an excursion in his complex, explained his plans and showed how he is going to create a „Mini Latvia“.

    Traditionally, after planting the lilac bushes, there is an obligatory ceremony of preparation a fish soup – «uha», cooked on open fire.

    President of the Club, Pavol Baranay presented to Nikolay Kolotilo memorable gifts and wished him success in development of his complex.

    Askar Mahmutov presented to N.Kolotilo a souvenir from Kazakhstan.

    President of the Club, Pavol Baranay presented a diploma of the Club and yellow T-Shirt with Club symbolic to Li Zhijan, secretary of China Embassy, who is going back home.

    Diplomatic Club for Peace Appeal to world leaders and humanity

    Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa.
    Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians.
    We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations.
    Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people.
    Please don't even allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons.
    All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Diplomatic Club for Peace

    1997 — the beginning of the formation of the idea of creating a club, the establishment of internal interactions in the club on the basis of international exhibitions in Riga, periodic meetings.
