The Opening Day of Exhibition „Baltic Furniture 2012“

On the 4th of October, members of the Diplomatic Economic Club attended the international exhibitions Baltic Furniture 2012 and Woodworking 2012

On the exhibition, members of the Club got acquainted with the activity of Latvijas Mebeles association. Executive Director Andris Plezers told about the working process of enterprises. At the moment, there are 15 enterprises that are occupying 40% of the furniture market.

Key enterprises efficiently manufacture products for export. They supply about 70% of all production abroad, in Finland, Swedren, Germany, the Great Britain, USA and etc. Overall, export goes to more than 40 countrie all over the world.

The members of the Club got acquainted with the activity of Pinus GB enterprise. Director Ivo Einauss invited them to visit factories of the enterprise.
