3 may in Poland celebrated the national holiday on 3 may (Swieto Narodowe Trzeciego Maja Will) and the feast of the Constitution of May 3 (Swieto Konstytucji 3 Maja), dedicated to the anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution in the year 1791.

Reception of the Embassy of Poland in Latvia

The first Polish Constitution-is the first in a modern Europe and the second in the history of the world after the United States Constitution, adopted in 1787 year. In the year 1918, 3 May has been declared an official holiday. In 1990 year, May 3 Constitution was revived and declared a public holiday.
