At the webinar held on October 23 at the Diplomatic Economic Club, the guest of the club was Kadambay Sultanov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Latvia and Finland.

Meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan

Unlike the meeting in the premises of the club in Riga, in a virtual meeting could take part and club members who are outside Latvia: Kazakhstan, Slovakia, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, and other countries.

Ambassador K. Sultanov elaborated on the goals and objectives that President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev touched upon in his video address at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly.

Uzbekistan is open for cooperation in all areas, including implementing joint projects with Latvia.

Club members thanked the Ambassador for the interesting presentation and agreed to continue the meeting next month.
