On February5,the new exhibition season was opened in Kipsala, Riga. The first exhibition of the season is tourist fair Balttour 2010.
DEC’s members attended the Balttour opening ceremony, visited stands and were informed about tourist industry offers in Latvia, Baltic and other states.

Stands of Latvia and other countries offer wide range of relaxation and health supporting programs.

At the exhibition DEC members received information regarding internal and external tourism offers; possibilities of relaxation and treatment at Latvia and foreign sanatoriums; sport tourism possibilities.

After the exhibition visit, honorary member of the Club, Mr. Sergey Kanaev , representative of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing of Dubai government in Russia and Baltic States, invited all to attend Dubai stand and proposed a toast for further development of Latvian tourist industry and Balttour exhibition.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
