Tradicionālais Diplomātiskā ekonomiskā kluba golfa turnīrs norisinājās īsi pirms Līgo, plaši iecienītiem Vislatvijas svētkiem.
Nemainīgā, ilggadēji turnīra norises vieta ir golfa klubs „Viesturi“

2016. gada turnīrs ir jau vienpadsmitais, un uzrunā gan profesionāļus, gan iesācējus.

Pēc iesildīšanās notika galvenās sacensības trijos etapos. Uzvarētājs tika noteikts pēc iesisto bumbiņu skaita.

Par turnīra uzvarētāju kļuva Aleksandrs Šušunovs.
Otro un trešo vietu ieguva Valērijs Roldugins un Šahbozs Tavakkalovs, kurš pirmo reizi pamēģināja golfu pēc 10 gadu pārtraukuma!

11. Diplomatīskā ekonomiskā kluba golfa turnīra uzvarētāji ieguva godalgas, kuras pasniedza Kluba vice-prezidents Andre Villers, daudzkārtējs uzvarētājs, ieskaitot 2013. gada turnīru.

Šī turnīra jauniņie Romāns un Inga Šeremet ieguva speciālo balvu „Par tiekšanos pretim uzvarai!“
Pēc tradīcijas, turnīra dalībnieki rīkoja Līgo priekšvakara pikniku.

Andre Villers, Valērijs Roldugins, Aleksandrs Šušunovs, Snežanna un Maksims Šušunovi, Šahbozs Tavakkalovs, Žabohirs Abdurasulovs, Edgars Ozoliņš, Vjačeslavs Butenko, Romāns Šeremets, Anatolijs Butenko, Inga Šeremet un suns vārdā Džango.

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
