Diplomātiskajā ekonomiskajā klubā notika online kluba biedru tikšanas, sakarā ar Tomasa Kastela misijas beigām Lietuvā un sakarā ar pāreju uz jaunu darbu.

Тomass Kastrels — padomnieks Beļģijas vēstniecībā, Flandrijas reģionā Baltijas valstīs ir pārcēlies uz jaunu darba vietu — kopš 2020. gada novembra viņš ir Beļģijas Flandrijas valdības ģenerālpārstāvis Polijā un vienlaikus Baltijas valstīs.

Kluba biedri ļoti augstu vērtē Tomasa Kastela personiskās īpašības, piemēram, aktīvu dzīves pozīciju, komunikācijas prasmes, spēju atrast un attīstīt savstarpēju saprašanos un daudzas citas.

Tomasa Kastela goda medaļa un diploms

Valde Diplomātiskā ekonomiskā kluba vārdā pieņēma lēmumu apbalvot Tomasu ar kluba Goda medaļu «Par ieguldījumu tirdzniecības un ekonomisko attiecību attīstībā starp valstīm».
Kluba suvenīrus un medaļu nosūtīja pa pastu.

Pašlaik Tomass atrodas jaunā amatā un strādā Varšavā un turpina sabiedrisko darbību klubā kā kluba valdes loceklis un viceprezidents.

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
