The end of January in Sicily was held swimming tournament "VIII Trofeo S. Agata - Memorial Gigi Pili" Edgar Ozolins won the grand prize.

February 2, at the wine bar La Villa was a presentation of French brandy Peyrat. 
On December 22 Christmas and New Year evening was held. 
On the 20th December an annual traditional friendly meeting on the occasion of upcoming Christmas and New Year 2012 celebration took place in the Embassy of Slovakia in Latvia.
